This Role: The role will drive the organization's digital transformation agenda by ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable technology platforms that support manufacturing operations, enterprise systems, remote asset monitoring, telemetry management, cloud connectivity, data analytics, and the development of Cygni's future Energy Management System (EMS) ecosystem. The position will play a critical role in enabling real-time visibility, operational intelligence, predictive diagnostics, and fleet-level performance optimization across distributed energy storage assets.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and support ERP/MES systems, manufacturing applications, shop-floor digitization initiatives, and production dashboard/reporting systems to ensure smooth business and manufacturing operations.
- Ensure cybersecurity, endpoint protection, ransomware preparedness, VPN/remote access security, data protection practices, and IT security awareness across the organization.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for ERP/MES support, IT procurement, vendor SLA management, software licensing compliance, and technical issue resolution.
- Manage and maintain the organization’s overall IT infrastructure including desktops, laptops, servers, storage systems, networking devices, CCTV systems, biometric systems, communication platforms, and other IT peripherals ensuring operational reliability and business continuity.
- Ensure proper installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and lifecycle management of operating systems, business applications, manufacturing systems, IT assets, and user access controls across the organization.
- Establish and operationalize a centralized BESS NOC Control Room for continuous 24×7 monitoring and support.
- Monitor BESS Assets, LV / MV / HV electrical systems, EMS / BMS / PCS / Inverter systems, Auxiliary and site-level infrastructure
- Develop operational workflows for alarm & fault management, event handling, escalation matrix, incident response, and remote diagnostics.
- Coordinate with field teams, EPC teams, service teams, and customers for issue resolution and site support.
- Integrate telemetry and operational data from third-party cloud platforms such as Deye, Solis, Hithium, and other OEM systems into the Cygni Cloud platform.
- Develop APIs and middleware required for secure data exchange between external cloud platforms and Cygni systems.
- Work with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud environments.
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for telemetry ingestion, storage, processing, and visualization.
- Develop UI/UX-driven operational dashboards for real-time asset monitoring, alarm management, energy analytics, battery health tracking, and fleet performance management.
- Implement visualization tools for SOC, SOH, voltage imbalance, thermal behaviour, event logs, alarms, and performance KPIs.
- Build analytics frameworks for predictive maintenance, fault diagnostics, and operational optimization.
- Support development and deployment of Cygni’s own EMS and cloud-native data center architecture.
- Develop interface units/gateways for Smart BMS and HV Box integration.
- Enable CAN / RS485 data acquisition, telemetry collection, MQTT-based cloud communication, and real-time remote monitoring.
- Support architecture for scalable fleet-level monitoring and control across multiple project sites.
- Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi networks, switches, routers, firewalls, VPN infrastructure, internet connectivity, remote access systems, and related IT services to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Provide timely technical support and resolution for hardware, software, ERP/MES, network, email, VPN, and connectivity-related issues while ensuring closure of IT tickets within defined timelines.
- Support employee onboarding and separation activities from IT perspective including email/domain administration, system allocation & recovery, access control management, collaboration tools, and user authorization management.
- Manage data backup, recovery readiness, server maintenance, storage systems, shared drives, and accessibility of business-critical information.
- Maintain accurate inventory, documentation, and lifecycle management of IT assets, software licenses, AMCs, warranty records, network diagrams, backup logs, user access records, and compliance-related documentation.
- Coordinate procurement, servicing, repair, replacement, and vendor management activities related to IT infrastructure, software licensing, AMC support, hosting services, and technical solutions while ensuring SLA compliance and cost optimization.
- Ensure uptime and smooth functioning of official websites, domains, hosting platforms, internal communication systems, and collaboration tools.
- Support IT compliance requirements, audit preparedness, cybersecurity awareness initiatives, and implementation of IT governance practices across the organization.
- Submit periodic IT performance reports, system status updates, incident reports, risk assessments, and critical escalation reports to management.
