This Role: The reports to the Head of Business Development and is responsible for strengthening the company’s online presence and building a scalable lead-generation engine for our battery storage solutions. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of content, SEO, and demand generation in the fast-growing energy storage sector. You will own Cygni’s digital marketing strategy end-to-end — from crafting compelling collaterals to optimising our search visibility and nurturing a qualified B2B pipeline. Location: Hyderabad (TS)

Online Presence & Brand Building
  • Own and continuously improve the company website — content, structure, UX, and messaging — to reflect a credible, authoritative B2B brand
  • Develop and manage content calendars across the website, LinkedIn, and other relevant B2B channels.
  • Build and maintain a consistent brand voice aligned with our positioning in the energy storage market.
  • Monitor brand perception and engagement metrics, reporting insights to leadership.
Lead Generation for Storage Solutions
  • Design and execute demand generation campaigns targeting decision-makers in industries such as energy, utilities, infrastructure, and manufacturing.
  • Manage and optimise paid digital channels (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to drive qualified inbound enquiries.
  • Build landing pages, lead magnets, and conversion-focused content to support pipeline growth.
  • Work closely with the sales team to align marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) with sales objectives and follow-up workflows.
  • Track, analyse, and report on lead generation KPIs including CPL, MQL-to-SQL conversion, and channel attribution.
SEO Optimisation
  • Lead on-page and off-page SEO strategy, including keyword research, technical SEO audits, meta-data optimisation, and link-building.
  • Collaborate with web developers and content teams to implement SEO best practices across all digital properties.
  • Monitor organic performance using tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs and provide regular reports on rankings, traffic, and opportunities.
  • Develop a content cluster strategy targeting high-intent, industry-specific search terms related to battery storage and energy solutions.
Marketing Collateral Development
  • Oversee the creation and continuous improvement of marketing materials including brochures, case studies, white papers, product datasheets, presentations, and email templates.
  • Partner with technical and product teams to translate complex battery and storage solutions into clear, customer-centric narratives.
  • Maintain a centralised collateral library that is up-to-date, on-brand, and readily accessible for the sales and business development teams.
  • Brief and manage relationships with external design and content agencies or freelancers as needed.

Prior experience:
  • 3–6 years of experience in B2B digital marketing, with demonstrated ownership of online lead generation.
  • Proven track record of managing SEO strategies that delivered measurable improvements in organic traffic and rankings.
  • Experience running paid campaigns targeting business decision-makers in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or technology sectors.
  • Previous exposure to long B2B sales cycles and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies is strongly preferred.
  • Experience creating or commissioning technical marketing content — white papers, case studies, datasheets — for a technical or engineering audience.
  • Prior experience in the energy, cleantech, industrial, or manufacturing sector is a significant advantage.

Professional qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Certification in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Hubspot (preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of SEO principles and tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs)
  • Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Odoo, HubSpot)
  • Experience with paid media (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn campaign manager)
  • Excellent written communication skills with ability to simplify technical content
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams
